My Pre-production Stuff

Here you can find visualisations, producers notes, posters, and material related to the emerging movie. I believe the art of great story telling has been declining due to the dependence on large studios and their desire to impress by using effects and CGI action rather than by making absorbing and interesting stories. This is about to change as affordable technology becomes increasingly available to natural story tellers able to make films which engage their audience instead of stunning them. Watching a movie should be an exciting and intoxicating experience. Going to a Theme Park should be about rides and quick thrills. The two experiences are very dfferent.

My film will draw you in, fascinate and haunt you, and hopefully - leave you thinking more about the story. I am the writer. I thought about everything most of us see in movies, and then wrote a story to show you a movie about everything you rarely see (except in French films). Maybe after watching this one, you might go the world cinema section of Amazon or your local store, and watch a few more movies with great stories and enjoy them more than films which have become expensive adverts for the games market. Watching movies educated me, befriended me in times of trouble, and allowed me to escape in moments of anguish or boredom. Good movies made me think more about my world and being a human-being on its stage. mol

We all like to know how it was made, right? Here, in my pre-production notes, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look into preparing to make an Indie movie. Best not to look if you want to enjoy the movie first? The art of creating Indie films is not simple: on a small budget, with less than a million dollars, you have to do a lot with a little!

We used the same caravan for 3 different people and periods. Here, we're starting to dress it for the First Gypsy Woman . She begins our journey, and the caravan must display her ownership, her power, and her character.

This set isn't complete yet: more stuff to arrive, and more lights to go in, but you start to see how it's going to look.
